I’ve had a few 372s like that too. My fix is to strip a small length of insulation from a 14ga wire, split it, then pull the outer cable cover out of that bracket on the carb & put the insulation on the cable and up into the bracket. Refit the cable and you’re good to go. Essentially it’s just lengthening the outer cover like you would adjusting the old dirt bike brake cables.

Thanks. I will check into that when I get time. When I squeeze the trigger while watching the carb, I can feel and hear a small click, and that's when the plastic piece on the carb shaft stops rotating.

Is there a reason they don’t make longer bar/chain combos in .050? I’m heavily invested in .050 chains.
Me too. That's why I didn't get one. I did get one in stihl mount to convert to Husqvarna, I do have some. 063 but not one .058.

My brother ran his one man band timber business for around 40 year's
I cut with him often
We ran mainly 24" some 28" and rarely 32" bar's all .50 on 181/282/288/394/395s
It's funny the only chains that ever broke on us was stihl chain.

Free one day shipping IMG_20240518_112310.jpg
I actually forgot I ordered it
It's exactly like most other china chain and especially upstart chain I've bought hundreds of but they never offered more than 20" chains.

The dark side of the clone world is the opening it gives to dishonest folks to deceive people. One such crook has surfaced locally in Kingston, NY. Jerk is on Facebook peddling some of these saws. Someone I know just picked up a 395 from him. The scam this dude is playing is that while he admits the saws are clones, he claims to upgrade them with genuine Husky parts. So, I told my friend, who is on the gullible side to begin with, to put the saw on the tailgate and we'll have a look. Not that I was expecting different, but the only thing this clown does is replace the farmertec decals with Husqvarna ones. Absolutely nothing else is changed. People like that are out there unfortunately.

Honestly since the clones were introduced scammers have been at it
My stihl dealer got a very early 660 clone in for service probably 10 year's ago
Somebody put oem stihl sticker's on it
And while it did run
It was no 800.00 the guy paid for it
eBay or Craigslist idk which.
How much did your buddy lose?

Haha. Going by specs on paper that sounds about right. Never ran one though.

Ordered three. The 10% renewed daily...on top of the 50%. Between that and rewards points only paid about $25 out of pocket for all three.

I started out .050"...still have a partial roll of 72LGX....Then kept finding great deals on .058 bars...and bar/chain combos....Then something like this pops up....it's not the 36" I was looking for ....but dang! Good price on a 32"Tsumura lw

I'm convinced whatever gauge a guy chooses and invests in...all future deals found on bars/chains will be in a different gauge.🤣

Anyone have experience with yutacorex bars chains? Appears to be a solid bar with replaceable sprocket nose.
