That seems to be the case here Mark. One was all yellow with a short clutch cover, chain brake, and electronic ign. Other had black recoil, long clutch cover(black), electronic ign, and black oil tank cover.

So help me understand. I was putting up some PM700 parts today, and decided to check the model # tags. Well, they were two completely different numbers, but Acres site says they are BOTH PM700s. Why?

Morning depraved knuckle humpers. Woke up at 0530 to a mouse chewing on something in the cabin. Almost broke my toe trying to stomp that lil bastid. Found a couple of glue traps. Gonna run into town and grab some breakfast and see if ive caught Jerry when i get back.

Nah, just a normal dude Ryan. At least thats the way i see it, but then im probably too old school for a lot of folks. Never made sense to me how someone could get bent up by some typed words, especially in here. Maybe we need a "disclaimer" before folks can get in. Something to the effect of...

Two words. Carpenter bees. They eat EVERYTHING thats not PT down here. They will TRY to bore into the PT, but the chemicals stop them about 1/4" in. Painting helps, but they will still try. I learned not to use latex caulk to fill the holes. They will chew right through it.

Of course i just remembered i cant get anything in PT longer than 16', so ill have to do a form of truss. Also only have 2 x 4 rafters where it ties in to the existing roof. Could i do a "bastard" partial length truss with a ledger attached to the wall to keep as much headroom as i can? Hard...

So how far can i free-span with a 2 x 8? How about a 2 x 10? Want to build a lean-to off the house to park the old Ferd under. Would rather not have to truss something. Hoping for 16-20' if the roof pitch will allow it. Gotta do maffs to see how wide i can make it.

Also had it rigged to two hoists. 2 each 7.5 ton with 15 ton(30,000 lbs) total weight allowed. Machine weight was 23,000 lbs-and change. No chance of it rotating, as hoists were at both ends, so no hand line needed. I know that looked sketchy, but they have a written lift plan to do it, and...

Troofs? Chebby motors have so many interchangeable parts because they HOPE youll finally find a combo that works as good as what Ferd engineered to work right in the first place. They finally stopped playing with Legos when they came out with the 5.3 etc i guess. Peeked over to see what Henry...

Cant argue with the fact that they are all "nice" trucks now. I cant afford ANY of them, must less pay to have them fixed when they do electro-tronical things that i dont have an "app" to be able to fix them.... Really nice ride, but ill just keep my old Ferd that doesnt require a laptop and...
