Not sure what it was originally used for but it was probably under my grandfathers work bench for a lot of years. He probably wouldn't figure out the wiring either lol

I tried reaching out to the manufacturer but they have never returned any of my calls or emails.
Sorry, I should have included a picture of the entire unit. It does in fact have the gear reduction unit attached to it. That's what I thought was kind of neat. It's a 90° output angle. I'll post a...
So I've been packing around this really cool old pre 1950s electric motor with me for years and years. I found it under my grand father's work bench after he passed away. So I never got a chance to ask him about it.
So I'm trying to get it hooked up and running again. I've never seen an...
I didn't break the little piece out. I never had it. The saw came from a local logger. The owner of the company he logs for buys them all a brand new saw of their choice every year. So he was getting 395s for a few years. This was one that was still running and he got the new saw and put this in...
Missing top handle, started and I'm sure a couple other little things. I forgot to mention that the left side case is missing a small piece that asthetically would drive me nuts but doesn't hurt the function any. I'll post a close up picture of it.
Anyone interested in almost all of a 395xp?? Has great compression and the piston and rings look good through the exhaust port. Shoot me an offer. I'm sure it would make someone a good saw. I just really dislike Husqvarna and don't have the extra parts on hand to put it together.
Selling one of my ole Dolmars I took in on trade several months ago and haven't had time to mess with. It appears to be a good saw. It starts, runs, idles, oils, and cuts like it should. I started it long enough to make a couple test cuts. That all the run time I've had on it.
The only thing I...
Covered in concrete dust, spark plug location was a little different then a chainsaw and the biggest clue was it still had the huge concrete saw muffler attached to it.
Yesterday's delivery finally brought this one home to me. The second blue one I've ever had. The top end is currently not on it. I bought it knowing but it came with a cylinder from what I assumed was a 7301. Upon further inspection the cylinder appears to be off of a concrete saw....what are...
I take this statement back. As bad as I hate it. I just got an email from the place I ordered the oil pump drive and they said "the manufacturer discontinued the item you order several years ago, and we can longer get them". So it back to square one on trying to find an oil pump drive to convert...
These things are such a pain in the @$$ to work on. One of the most frustrating, cramped saws I've ever seen. If you really need one rebuilt sent me a PM. I'm sure I can do it. Probably have a couple week lead time once I get the saw. I've got several in front of it waiting.
